deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen and can be stable in the vacuum of space. +1
it is still not part of the ship structur but used for building the ship ie- fule generators for tools ect ,,,, correct me if im wrong

Dueterium is a Boson and falls under the rules and theories of Quantum mechanics, without getting too deep, it would be affected by Orbital Angular Momentum which would cause its Nucleus to become unstable, this affect both the Diproton and Dineutron nucleus . hence -1

One small point of view..if deut does not burn in space...then how do the engines work... so combustion must work in space hence ships explode...only solid matter would remain.. hence no deut to collect... other wise we could say there should be a DF on a failed Moon destroy mission... were as all Rips are atomized..? -1...but +1 for a df from MD's...lol

i'm a noob compared to you guys so forgive me for pretending to know something and shooting my mouth off lol :]

are recyclers supposed to be expensive, deut. wise, to use? if deut can be picked up in debris fields, would this basically make recyclers much cheaper to operate? unlike raiding, the only risk to recycling is that somebody gets it before you do :]

on the other hand... if recyclers could be fought while recycling...?
RL has been a b****. maybe for once I can stay around long enough to make a name for myself...

I thin you guys are trying to throw way to much logic into this we are playing a game where we build spaceships using nao factories and shipyards using metal and crsytal mines that apparently have an Inexhaustible source.... Simply put for me persoinally i woul love to see Deut in a debris field....but maybe you need a special kind of ship to recycle it or something?
