This game has become stagnate. Many players are leaving because of this. I think something needs to be done here or this is going to be a vacant game by this time next year. I don't have the answers but feel free to discuss ideas here. Just a consideration from a long time active player.

i heard the same things a year ago. "This game will be gone in a year" "This server is dead". Well, it is still here. This is more than a game folks, it's a community. There are good friends who come here to socialize. It's like golf in a way, something to do while you escape rl for four hours. I always figured that to be the main appeal for miners and turtles lol. There are things in the works to bring newness to the game. one has only to read the forums to know this. new ship ideas and the like. Take the Scowl for instance... a great idea i just read about a couple days back. If standard is to slow paced for you, come to speed and i'll keep it interesting for you

@Thinman: I guess what I meant is that Standard will be near vacant. Not gone. It'll always be here. I guess I should have mentioned that there hasn't been an update in forever. No changes to the game. Also the players are not as active cause the other universes are more entertaining.

well standard is where i started i gave away a 2 mil point fleet because it was soooo slow but what i noticed is standard is only good for those that do not wish to play an intence game haveing ot check overview every 5 minutes it is a slow mans server but yeah comon to speed i will help you get started
