When major holidays roll around, would everyone be made unable to attack (but just build, send resources other planets, and any peaceful activity)? I think that would be the noble thing to do.

If no other game has "Christmas Truces" and other holiday truces, maybe we could set a precedent.

how can that be done when the holiday ends for some just as it starts for others? and then there are those who do not observe the holiday. i agree with v-mode if you want peace. the holidays piss me off and crashing fleets is how i relieve that... best v mode, fleet save or be crashed.

Many folks from all manners of faiths, religions, and spiritual traditions play the game. A truce imposed every holiday would leave few dates available for game play.

virtually none i would think. i live in the USA and we have more holidays than is reasonable. lol we look for any excuse to have a party.
