That's exactly the point: low ranked players do not have the amount of resources sometimes needed to to MS other players in their rank range, the option to remove newbie protection for MS wold be a great plus in the game, I understand ZE is willing for some income as the Rubie Moons are already implemented,therefore a small cost for MS could be set, let's say 2 Rubies per MS, just to show as profitable that will be I can assure that n average of 4 tries is needed it, my record is 35 and we got a 7 k Moon :roll:

Like this idea a lot...Generals on a larger timescale. Of course, plus options would have to be more than single use and maybe some tweaks on the speed and such so that those new to this type of game aren't so overwhelmed at first

And mentioning new players, I recall some discussion before about in game tutorials and the like to help newer players quickly learn the fundamentals before they drop out and disappear. The game is not easy for new players (and it should not be to an extent), but if they end up getting continuosly attacked early on they quickly lose interest in the game and never grow up to be big boys and girls for the rest of us to play with. Yes, much of the info is on the forums but it tends to be scattered and disorganized and not always easy to find (and forget about the search feature, practically useless). Anything to keep newer players joining, growing, and staying.

I also like the idea of having a way around noob protection for MS, but could think of a few potential issues, such as having a player in protection that one could ACS Defend with any amount of hold time and still be safe from attacks. Still, good idea.

EDIT: I realized my moment of ignorance - an ACS Defend to someone under protection is already possible and is completely unrelated to giving MS to a player under protection. It is a good idea - perhaps devise a mechanism for making attacks against players in noob protection possible only within an alliance.

Stop the use of noob protection Moons for FS will affect the possibility for a friend or same Alliance Member to ACS defend the noob, trades or resources support as transport missions will be denied as well, you could say transport can be made directly to planets but many times when we in hurry and we will not be in on transport returns we send from our on planets and of course we do not want to be seen on lanx.

I understand his willing to make hunt easier but after all " we go to jungle for a safari, not in the zoo" the best of hunting is the chalange to find and kill the prey.....somewhere I read in the forums" Puting fire in the forest and wait for the game is not so exciting" think that was on a pop Moon topic.

I think we need idea's that make the game more chalanging for big players and a bit more peacefull for noobs...
This way newcomer's will stay long enough till they get used to zorg and its ways of surviving.
And big guys will surely have more fun devaloping new ways to hunt them... I dont say you change the whole gameplay, only a few little changes.
like more chance for noobs to get a moon from ms... or some where in scoreboard that we can see name's of those newcomers who get crushed. I'm sure there are a lot of players that will help them stick around and grow.

If a free for all discussion, then I would like to raise an option that has been shot down in the past.

I have no doubt it shall again, but I figure that it can't hurt to mention it as a possibility

ACS Attack in Standard

My reasoning is simple: Standard has oft been dominated by folks who have 'retired' their fleets on others, or bequeathed enormous dinosaurs upon their leaving to others. I believe it would provide some balance if there was a greater possibility for taking some of the larger behemoths down if they're caught napping.

I do not play standard, as i found it a bit too slow. But I support having ACS attack in Standard. And as long as the "reset" rule doesn't effect other universes, then whatever. And that nonsense about giving moonshots to noob players, I -1 the idea.
