Well it has been a pretty slow night, some storms and power outages in the region, but luckily I was unaffected. There i am relaxing in my drawers, pipe in hand, and the tv on in the background. I was just doing a little farming of good ole asheron clear up in g9, when suddenly I notice a red blip on my radar screen. Everyone knew their job, and their task at hand, and all hands were on deck and at battle stations within 35 seconds. I notice a whole hell of a lot of battlecruisers incoming to my planet waaaaaaaaaaay down in g2. I do some quick calculations, and decide to jump most of my rip's, some EC's, and 10k recs. unlike some i have noticed, I like to keep some deut on my moons for such a situation, so i didnt need to wake my planet up asking for a deut shipment, and showing that inevitable *. He didnt even probe the planet, so any action would have shown i was online. I slow launch my rip's to land a second prior to his attack, and my recs to collect DF shortly after. i only jumped 10k recs, so they had to make a second pass to clean up the mess entirely. Well im sure you arent interested in the rest of my story, because it involves me and this hot brunette down the street and a big box of wine...haha. so here is the gory details:
