Profit was significant in fact. The whole thing cost ~11 Mill deut. to run and recycle. He left about 6 mill in explicit deut lying around, so that was about half the cost. Then there's the equivalent deut for the crystal and metal recovered. In this case, the equivalent deut for the metal is around 30 Mil and the equivalent deut. for the crystal recovered is around 62 Mil dividing by the usual cost to convert metal and crystal to deut. So, in fact, marginally profitable. Bit of a turtle, yes, but, as you can see, hardly unbreakable. Take my losses of that and I had a bit over to build a few new ships. Nett result is that the points go on the board, which is what we were aiming for and won the weekly competition.

I was exploring the forums and found this, profits were, questionable as I got the majority of the debrie field.
