Well, after his repeatedly defense bashing on my planets for the war, i finally managed to be online when he attacked... 2 waves of 100 RIPs each, the majority of my fleet was on a long fleetsave but had 15k lunars and 15k Recs down. Split it in 2 and timed it to land 5secs before for both hits that came in simultaniously:

The defender has won the battle !
The attacker has lost a total of 750.000.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 72.009.350 units.
A debris field containing 315.685.410 units of Metal and 167.582.100 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %
A moon has formed around the planet [xxx] !

The attacker has lost a total of 750.000.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 32.579.750 units.
A debris field containing 304.383.150 units of Metal and 156.295.500 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %

Ouch! Was there a safety probe? Did they land at about the same time? I can't see why you wouldn't be watching an attack go through and see one not come back and let the other continue.

The hits landed about 2 secs apart from each other..

and far as the safety probe thing..noticed that in a few attacks against me...seems to be a lost art.Had a chap try and hit me sunday...seen attack moved ships with over 7 minutes to go..after the 0 loss both side encounter i was told in a pm the professional thing to do was tell him i was moving ships...now we know i wont do that..probes and attacks like that reveil online times and attack habits.I could have destroyed the 1250 bc..just not that killer anymore so i didnt jump the 30 rips in... but it could have taught a lesson!

yup agreed with that.. great feat there D... always a good thing to see someone getting splashed all over the universe in small pieces with a turn table. but yes as long as you know the true capacity of your fleet power if there is an in coming defense bash and you can just rub it off easily showing of online times by pming or probing just may take away that sweet ninja that could have been on to you next.
