Alright, well this one has been a while of a chase. I had been probing the crap out of Setesh to try for some habits of his. Found out he had been leaving his fleet popping in and around loosely during my midday. From him doing that I essentially disregarded his fleet movements then and just probed to watch with some popcorn
.
Well today as things got later, I saw his fleet sitting around in their normal pieces (multiple FSs) as I had expected. Checked in the galaxy that I had seen one part of the fleet constantly, it was still there, but would have cost me over 40 million deut to launch with my WSA!
Well, couldn't pull things off of memory, so I probed out his co-ords list and found the BC portion of his fleet. Well just my luck, about 70 systems over a roamer of mine just finished its jump gate within the hour
! So I sent some deut over.
While the deut was on route I checked out where PKs planets were to see if he had been close to anything, crap he was 15 systems over. Well it was not his usual times so I left it be for now.
Raided a utility fleet of Setesh's, recalling the first wave, timed so that probe would land one second after that attack would have. Nothing there. Well I had 4 other waves to go through anyways, so was left with:
Attacker Loss: 0 Defender Loss:55.515.000
winnings Metal:33.710.381 Crystal:0 Deuterium:19.370.000
Debris Metal:16.654.500 Crystal:16.654.500
Attacker Loss: 0 Defender Loss:0
winnings Metal:16.855.191 Crystal:0 Deuterium:9.685.000
Debris Metal:0 Crystal:0
Attacker Loss: 0 Defender Loss:0
winnings Metal:8.427.595 Crystal:0 Deuterium:4.842.500
Debris Metal:0 Crystal:0
Attacker Loss: 0 Defender Loss:0
winnings Metal:4.213.798 Crystal:0 Deuterium:2.421.250
Debris Metal:0 Crystal:0
Well, now I knew that he was not online for sure. Jumped over to my newest JG and sent recs at target. Sent minimum amount needed for a good no-loss. Probed PKs near moon to check for if he had anything around (as activity had popped up on his home) and nothing doing. Re-probed the second fleet (which hadn't moved either). Well, the attack went through as:
The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 2535655 units of Metal, 0 units of Crystal and 7095817 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 0 units.
The defender has lost a total of 963.018.400 units.
A debris field containing 261.277.740 units of Metal and 316.533.300 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %
You collect; 261.277.740 units of Metal and 316.533.300 units of Crystal.
Well, there was still that second fleet of his sitting. I could have easily no-lossed it as well, but I knew that a couple alliance mates could have gotten a cheaper deut cost than me on the second fleet... So, I sent a circ and let a mate take the other half of Setesh's fleet. I held off posting everything until the other DF had been collected.
Good luck on the rebuild Brokenshield.
