Normally this isn't really big enough to merit a post, but it was such a spectacular fail on the attackers part I just had to. Me and a buddy of mine were discussing this guys Death Star's over msn just yesterday, so my surprise this morning when I logged in to find 2 of his RIP's about 40 minutes away from one of my colonies, was amusing. Did a bit of math and got some of my Destroyers deploying in 2 seconds before his hit, then just waited it out. No safety probe came, at all, in the entire length of his flight there was not one probe to check my planet. Hence, this result;
The defender has won the battle !
The attacker has lost a total of 15.000.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 2.515.700 units.
A debris field containing 6.032.520 units of Metal and 3.325.200 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %
A moon has formed around the planet [x:xxx:x] !
All my losses were lasers, of which 70% rebuilt, naturally. So in total about 7 million profit here alongside the nice 9k diameter moon he gave me (coincidentally the only planet I really wanted a moon on at the moment, thank you
).
There is an old quote I learned from the cool hand a very long time ago; "Bravery is only admirable when backed by a decent measure of common sense."
