I knew that eventually I was going to try and hunt Nighthawk. So a couple of weeks ago I placed a colony in his sector. I figured over the course of time, he would get comfortable with it there (with no moon). So this morning I got a pm from Logged, telling me about Nighthawk's fleet. So I called in for a moon shot from my alliance mates. Thanks to Shandris, Pk, and their 6 shots, I got one. So I sent the resources, jumped my fleet over and was prepared to launch. Probed the moon and planet just to make sure first. Saw nothing! This was shortly after stats update so I figured he just started his fleetsave. So I sent out destroy missions on both of his moons hoping to uncover his fleet. Had to get some help from my alliance mates again untill my lanx was built. I was afraid that he would get on before I could launch and go into vacation mode, so I launched at 10% speed. I knew that I would not have enough recyclers to cover it, so Gumppy helped me out there. 7 hours later, this is what we got!

great hit my friend...funny everyone runs from gump just to get toasted elsewhere as i tried at nighthawk just the other night in G2..and if you have a fleet and you try to hit someone smaller than you..chances are your location is gonna get ratted out.

This is another massive hit, another candidate for Hall of Famer. I believe this ranks as the 4th largest hit in history. Congratulations to myrsee, my vote for you to be the scariest is not a fail, you just proved yourself once again.
