Really, you can have as much defense as you want...Just don't put a fleet behind it.

Turtle or Fleet. Don't EVER try and mix the two. It doesn't work, lol. There are a couple nice pure turtles that stay very high up the ranks, but it seems all the hybrids are getting cracked.

I'm glad that people FINALLY seem to be realizing that no defense is gonna save you if you're profitable. Glad the top ranking fleeters are finally starting to crack the shells

Or you could just never put your fleet behind your shell, and that would work too.

But then there is no point in turtling, because all your stuff is gone.

Hmm...You could still have a small fleet then.
