The thing was, I had a fleet returning from a raid about 30 seconds BEFORE his attack was set to land, so I didn't have much time in making the dodge. I had most of my fleet sitting while I was raiding. Saw the attack and decided to try a quick dodge. I sent my fleet out around 1 second before his attack landed. Very close dodge, but I got it All I lost was some defense. I think he lost more in Deuterium, though

No, this wasn't an amazing ninja or anything like that, I'm just posting because of how close of a dodge it was

well this was an old post before my reset...by time i had a fleet replaced to go exact some revenge someone went to Vacation mode...noticed was out and had a pile of res on a planet...pretty sure i made my deut back from that phalanx miss back in april..i might not get ya back right away..but those negative posts on missed/dodged attacks against someone...normally come back to nip ya later...and generally when ya forgotten about it!

He went into (v) cos I smashed his fleet. Although in fairness to him, he couldnt fleetsave because the server was down for a few hours that day. And yes, gloating about dodging an attack only makes an attacker more determined to hit your fleet so, there is a lesson to be learned here.

I'd like to, in my defense, state that it wasn't because I got crashed, but the circumstances that made me quit for a while. I know how to deal with a crash

Like I said, good hit gumppy

I haven't got back into the rhythm of fleet-saving and whatnot.

Don't think it'll always be that easy, though
