Pulsar(MOC) v Dino(AZGD) - TD: 7.100.073.150

Dino's fleet was down... and down... and still down... Located the fleet on a moon right next to Torgard, which made me nervous... Torgard was showing fleet and activity, which was good, on one level, as it meant it probably wasn't a set up... Ran some sims to see what I could do and waited for Torgard to log... I could have launched from where I was, but I felt a roamer was essential because of Dino's location next to Torgard and because I knew I would need at least two trips to scoop the df. Unfortunately, no one from my alliance was available to ms me... I almost didn't go through with the hit, but took a further risk, and asked an old ally I wasn't sure I could entirely trust for help...

The risk payed off, on all accounts. As always, the sim promised better, but this was really as good a result as I could have reasonably hoped for, and plenty of profit:

The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 45.042.500 units of Metal, 45.042.500 units of Crystal and 45.042.500 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 1.865.820.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 5.234.253.150 units.
A debris field containing 2.061.625.440 units of Metal and 2.198.418.450 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %

The attacker has won the battle !

I'm sure it's true that I have more to learn, Gozar, but I played with the sim a fair bit and it seemed the best I could do quickly with what I had on hand... You can't send what you don't have!

But could be you're right, and if I had more time and experience I might have been able to work out a different comp that could have served me better. :)
