Not a significant hit as combat reports posted here seem to go -
Yet, this was my very first hit on a returning fleet tracked by the lanx.
On an earlier sweep of the galaxy, the planet concerned was among those to which I sent probes. When I later reviewed planets caught up in the sweep, I noticed a time signature by the planet indicating activity following.
I lanxed it.
Prometheus FSed in an attack from his planet towards another planet.
I therefore plotted to lay in wait for him.
I was three seconds behind in launching the attack. My recyclers were timed to arrive moments after.

Prometheus received a few rubies, for his trouble. A moon was already there.

The attacker has lost a total of 0 units.
The defender has lost a total of 14.283.300 units.
A debris field of 4.836.180 metal and 3.667.500 crystal has formed in orbit around the planet
A moon has formed around the planet
