Torgard [~A~] vs TheSnake [EZT] ~ TD: 713.146.500

Ah, the thrill of the hunt. And the adrenaline rush you get when you know your opponent is online.

Where to begin. Two days ago I was doing my normal probing and decided to check out my neighbors with my Phalanx Sensor. What I discovered is that TheSnake had his fleet on a Deploy mission from a planet to another planet. I timed everything to hit 1 second after the fleet arrived its destination. Luck was with TheSnake because he came online about 2 minutes before the hit and recalled his fleet. I too recalled.

Knowing that the fleet would take 24 hours to return to base, I went to bed and woke up this morning preparing for the hit. This time the attack would take over 2 hours to hit. Almost immediately after I launched, TheSnake sent me a PM saying he was online.

Got a little worried that he would contact the rest of EZT and try to perform a Ninja on my RIPs, I destroyed my mobile planet I had for another mission and sent it to TheSnakes system. Sent in enough resources to get a Moon with JG and jumped in my entire fleet.

Sent in a recon fleet (with some fleet I was wanting to recycle anyway) to take out his existing fleet on the planet. But he moved it to the moon. He was able to get a little of that DF, but not much.

Defender TheSnake
Destroyed!
The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 1.627.055 units of Metal, 973 units of Crystal and 511 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 66.875.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 219.645.000 units.
A debris field containing 20.889.000 units of Metal and 21.201.000 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %

Still worried about a Ninja, I dispatched my entire fleet to arrive 2 seconds before the fleet return. I also recalled 2 seconds before impact - I am not one that likes to bash defenses for no reason. I think TheSnake was relieved that I recalled that fleet too.

Fortune was on my side, nobody sent any fleet to Ninja my attack. Was also surprised in the ammount of resources that was being transported. ;)

Good luck rebuilding TheSnake. You displayed very good sportsmanship. Also, you might want to use the Moons you already have. You never know when someone will decide to lanx you. ;)

Its always hard to accept clumsiness from a fellow alliance mate but tracing a fleet and then manifesting both ends of a flight to take it down must be praised.
