Alrighty, well I had seen that he carried around a very high quantity of deuterium so had always been keeping an eye on him. He dodged a rip launch easily before by me a while ago, but persistence is the key and I got a second opportunity at him today . Unfortunately I would have to risk rapid fire in order to hit him. I threw in some ships to hopefully draw the rapid-fire away from my main. Knowing I may not have had much time I fired with that, knowing that I could very well suffer a 4bil + loss on the hit. Figuring you have to risk to make the res, I hoped it would work lol. Before the attack hit I messaged Thorr and have to give him a big thanks for standing by for me in case, as he was ready to use his recyclers as well on the df in case things happened to bad, luckily the rf worked how I had hoped and this turned into a 95 rip kill with some assorted other goodies!
