dj you realize that would make it 2 on 43 with all there mercs it makes it 4 on 43 so how is this the war off the mercs theres skirmish and myrsee.

Personally I would like to see an amendment to the mercenary rule. Something like an alliance may not hire more than twice the total point value of the opposing alliance. After reading past war topics it seems people seem to get upset when a powerful alliance attacks a weak one but it's no big deal to overpower the enemy with mercs, same thing to me. This is just a suggestion to make a more balanced war not a fair one because their is no such thing, far too many factors. As things stand now as long as no rules violations occur bring it on, the worst that can happen is getting beat by a vastly superior foe, no shame in that.

E~A could reduce the damage done to them by cutting inactives out of their alliance. jmo

its not alwaz about numbers.. its about whoz backin ya up.. sparta can have gumps and sbt as mercs n you would say its just 6 vs 43 but ea would be facing overwhelming odds even if they had 200 members.. mysreez fleet can take on all ea fleets.. ea dint start this war and now they have to face the might of mysreez fleet..

indeed they dont have to stay in this war at all there already losing they could just back out and you forget the number of high ranking mercs ea has and had and im still haveing some of my higher ranked friends telling me comet has been offering them rubies and res to merc for him...

FYI I offered a no-merc rule to comet at the very beginning of the war. He said he wanted rubies for him to agree so I said screw dat and started getting some help, nice hits btw myrsee
