I've noticed a trend with wars in Standard; it goes something like this: let's start wars and not declare them on the forums! That'll show them whose boss!

What's the point of a rule for the forums when nobody uses them?

soa and stargate are going at it pretty hard. its only a matter of time. thier basicly sniping each other. it will be the first and prablably the only big war in standard.

point is. i think this should apply to standard. its still pretty early.

I'd rather leave the rules as they are and stop complaining or just abolish mercs altogether and be done with it. And why did we make the poll for so long?

So that even the people who don't get on the forums much would have a chance to vote.

I vote that we abolish mercs altogether personally... people should fight wars on their own, and not pick fights with people they have no business to be fighting... but then again I don't have much experience with alliance wars so don't think that I know what I'm talking about :p

Yes, but the thing that I don't like about that choice is that some weaker players get declared on by stronger players who just wanna be asses. And the mercs getting locked in is also against my choice since some people just have to drop into v-mode sometimes. Maybe there should be some exceptions on when a merc drops out. He has to go into v-mode, and return to the war as soon as v-mode is over?

there is some large potential for abuse with that.they should be able to go into v-mode but whats to stop them from abusing it ?
