Hi,
Here are development teams's two proposed tweaks to improve scoreboard/stats:
a)Exclude defense bashing from attacker & defender stats (A minimum of 5% of total amount lost in battle must be fleet in order for defense stats to count in scoreboard and statistics.)
b)Transport of resources to inactive planets or moons will no longer be possible.
If you like them or have more and/or different ideas, feel free to share.
Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#2Can't say much about point A, but point B is long over due !
Aaahh....., i bet we'll see different numbers on raiders stats from now on

#3Doing this for a mate.
I got asked to post this, DrWho can't do it himself:
Point A seems ok, but attackers can lose those 5% on purpose, just to get it for score.
Point B is pointless:
1. They can still transport res to allied moon / planet and raid it back.
2. This also helps to determine if someone is active or inactive, as inactives are attackable 48 hours after their last login, but they become (i) after 1 week.
Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#41.The 5% will only count for defender.
2.Inactivity is defined as the number of hours someone has not logged in his account. Most probably this will be bind to the (i) icon.

Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#5So the second point leads to 126 hour gap that someone can transport resources to someone with 0 points, and raid them back.
Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#6Great idea, but I don't think it should be based solely on ship loss but also on the amount of resources taken - a minimum of 25 million as a suggestion - because even a battle with only defense lost can be a good hit if there is some nice res involved.Zorg wrote: a)Exclude defense bashing from attacker & defender stats (A minimum of 5% of total amount lost in battle must be fleet in order for defense stats to count in scoreboard and statistics.)
Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#7how about updating the board/profile once a day. you can hide your online times better that way so it makes it harder to hunt you or harder to hunt someone else

We cannot use fixed amount of resources as this would throw small players out of the feature.
Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#9Is this really important ? And if yes, can you explain why this would be better for the game ?DuctTape wrote:how about updating the board/profile once a day. you can hide your online times better that way so it makes it harder to hunt you or harder to hunt someone else
Re: Improvement of Scoreboard/Stats
#10It will effectively zero any chance of further exploitation as it will be make it even easier to track someone that will use such a tactic.hardstylex wrote:So the second point leads to 126 hour gap that someone can transport resources to someone with 0 points, and raid them back.
This will happen for 2 reasons:
-It has a risk that the player will become active and report you.
-It is easier to monitor even if the player never enters again through the transport script we use for milking as the planets monitored will now be less.
