why make a ship cost slightly expensive
when you have a big fleet
so that the player with small fleet
can catch up with the player that have a big fleet
just a suggestion ^^

imagine the top players who already have millions of ships, didn't you just make it MORE difficult to catch up to them? and gave them bonus points
there are a million reasons people can post below that oppose this idea

how it become a bonus to a player with big fleet?
the bigger the fleet you have, building with new ship is much more expensive
so that new player / rebuilding player can catch up because they building ship is less expensive

i.e. right now you need 100 million to build 1000 ships, after your proposed change it's gonna cost more, say 120m to build 1000ships. meanwhile top players already have 100000 ships built. Isn't it harder for you to catch up? all the while they can destroy you and put you back to 0

No matter what the price, fleet sizes will stay proportional. And trust me, in a couple of week the prices won't seem nearly as high.

let say
if you have 1000 fleet point, the ship cost will increase 10%
2000 fleet point = 20% increase and so on ( Just only example )
if player A have a 10,000 fleet point, if he/she build a ship it will become 100% higher in normal price
( double the price )
while player B have 0 fleet point, if he/she build a ship it will cost only normal price
and if A and B with equal resources keep building a ship sooner or later player B will catch up unless someone attack him

Why un-level the playing field?
When the game starts everyone starts the same at 0, why punish a better player because they have more ships.
They have more ships for a reason and really I dont think there is anything that can be done to weaken the strongest players other than crashing them.
If you make ships cost more the higher players will still build more ships then you.
Instead of thinking of ways to make it easier for smaller players to catch the big guys, maybe try hitting some small guys recycling their fleet into your fleet and work your way up to the bigger players.
Lastly the progression of this game is for huge battles with lots of ships and huge DF's, making ships cost more severly limits the size of everyones fleets.
So everyone would get to a certain point and wouldnt be able to build anymore ships, pretty lame.

but not everyone start the same time ^^ and not punishing better player just slowing him down so that
new player / rebuilding player can catch up so that he can compete to the top player

i think not it will slow you down but not wouldnt able to build if you have big fleet ^^
and in my opinion it will create balance

There are players of weeks say 16 warring/competing with players of years, or many many months currently in UOH and that's not a slight on who they are warring with.
Everyone has the same path to tread you have to put the time in and look after your fleet by fleetsaving it's not hard to fleet save.Your not going to get much sympathy for an easier passage for yourself or anybody else,and besides the last thing we want if we do manage to achieve millions of fleet points is some old fart saying yeh but it was harder when I did it.So no to the idea from this corner sorry 8)

ps get yourself in a decent alliance for moons,and knowledge and all sorts of reasons that your not even aware of yet probably,but they can't protect you 8). We all have the same journey if we want more ships it's irrelevant when you put the time in really . GL
