I've been wondering if Speed universe could use some more newb protection? Currently the #1 player is at least twice as big as the #2 player in the game.

I at around 600k pts can attack a 10k pt player and eat him/her alive and totally ruin their fun just to get their delicious resources... Of course I don't want them to quit, but often, they do. I think better noob protection would make them stay around longer. I don't know, maybe have a 100k protection limit like the other universes?

I disagree. There is barely 150 people over 100k points.

Perhaps if they took the time to browse the forums and ask around to get a grasp of basic game strategy before reaching 10K, they might not be in such a situation as being raided to hell and back and then giving up the game.

I don't think that raising player protection will do anything more than delay the inevitable. Sink or swim.

I agree with HeavensThunderHammer.
Xtreme (which is 2 times slower) has 100k points till open attacks.
Speed has 10k points till open attaks.

Can u make it?

P.S.: If limit is reached from 10k to 100k, there will be atleast 300 people more in next 2 weeks with 100k+ points ... They (we) just can't protect ourselves from Strong ...

Edit: @The: Why not admins just to remove all borders ... There are barely 400 people with 10k+ points ... Out of 3400 registered. Lets make the boarder 10 points, that way there will be 1050 people to attack ...

P.S.: @The: Does the number of persons with 10k+ points matters? Is it fair if person with 900k points hit you when you have 12k points? Please, think about the others, not just yourself.

Why blame the Strong specifically, I wonder?

I just don't see a benefit to this. Either you learn to play the game well by getting help from others and by learning from your mistakes, or you don't.

I had no problems when reaching 10k points. Play smart and keep yourself from being a target. These forums and much of the experienced playerbase will give you more than enough information on how to stay safe.

Spam LL's and your problem is solved. Really some defenses will protect your overnight resources and fleet save and nobody will bother attacking you.

@Choke: Cauze I saw no report with others except Strong from top50 to hit players with less than 50k points. Don't you get it that a lots of new players will quit playing when they're hit right after getting in "real game". Here 10k points are made in not more than 10 days (if you ever played any sort of online game).

@TheDude: Ok Turtle & ... at 100k points to have 60k points in defence ... In order not to be hit by Strong?

PS: The server name should be change to "Strong Masacre" if the limit stays 10k points ...
