In other words, should I retire?

I feel like this is the best place to put this, but if someone wants to move it elsewhere then go right ahead.

It's been brought to my attention that I'm no longer serving the good of the community; that I've began to abuse my power as a mod. So I'm asking all of you as a whole, not just a loud minority, if I'm actually doing my job or if I've become a glorified bully. If you decide that I have strayed from my purpose then I will step down as a mod and ask Zorg to remove my power. This is a completely serious matter and I feel that it's too big to make by myself. This is why I'm asking you, the regular forum browser, to say your bit. I would rather the other mods not post here to keep the discussion completely unbiased.

Also, would it be helpful if I made it into a poll?

I have one thing to say you Mr. Weresloth Head mod.

i thought i would add a bit more to it. you are one of the least biased and least political player in ze. in game you do not fleet... or raid or moon destro for fun. you trade out resources and so far i havent seen any one go out without a trade from you unless u are too busy with rl or u didnt have the spare res. so ur game play without doubt was unbiased.

talking about forum bias... well we all have our own way of seeing things. but least of all that is appreciated by all forum dwellers is that our own view are being shunned at. problem is we take it to the next level by defending it. lets not forget we are all human and we do mistakes and its not right to expect someone to be all perfect. well what i am trying to say is that if we are said we are wrong the ability to see reasons for which we are wrong is a mark of intelligence.

due to the fact that mods can also be wrong they do have a separate moderator forum box so that they can discuss their views with the other mod and admin. i am sure what we see is a combined reflection of moderation from that team.

so just one mod cant be wrong in this it has to be all of the team. if anyone is accusing you of not performing beyond the bias then it is a finger raised to the entire moderation body.

so the question i ask, is our moderator team working good?

I will not be giving any warnings in this thread and I urge other mods to follow suit.

During my forum entire forum experience, you and the rest of the mod team have been perfectly fair to me. I had one incident before ACS attack was developed, but it was my fault. Anyway, without you as a mod, Sloth, the forums would become increasingly more boring with everyday that passes. I know you would probably go on the forums like the average ZE player, but it just wouldn't be the same. I think you should keep your powers of moderation.

Also, from my quick read-through of the forums, people just seem to be butt-hurt. And from looking at the players posting, this is nothing new. They've always done this.

I am against discussion about mod in this thread and it is also against the rules. Any discussion should be done on topic which evolves around Weresloth question.

I would move to X-TREME discussion but I'll leave it for Weresloth to decide.

The only people that would ever have an issue with how you mod sloth would be people who lack any form of maturity and as a result are incapable of showing any in their posts resulting in your banhammer coming out to play. In other words I think you do a great job and have no idea who they would get to replace you.

I hardly ever post anything on these forums but i feel i must on this topic. Under no circumstances should you(weresloth) retire. the first word that comes to mind when i think of ZE forums is weresloth. You are reasonable and unbiased in every topic that i have read(also funny, but thats just icing on the cake). So in summary, NO dont even think about it.
