I would like to suggest on top of my alliance suggestion, another ranking suggestion.

Can we have a rankings page that is only of all current active players. So three pages in total, you have the total elite guys included, you have the alliance rankings (at least 2 members per alliance) and then another page with only active ranked players; this would make a massive difference to players who fight to climb the ranks, and it makes for more fun viewing.

Currently there are probably around 30 vm players in the top 100 at least and i would like to see a default page of those just active to see whom is doing well at this moment, and even compare myself to the other actives

Good idea, should be in any games with any VM-like function.

Hmmm this I like, wont be bad to see all the actives are fighting for ranks. What we have at the moment is that we are fighting with the veterans, which is good. but would be nice to see fight with the active ones.

now do you remove all vmoded player or only the perma vmoded ones who have rubies to keep the account running?

I'd say anytime you're in VM. Another idea suggested a while back was to simply set your score to 0 while in VM. Just thought I'd put that on the table as well

I do have to say I like that idea. Anytime anyone goes into vmode. They just show zero points untill they come out of vmode

dunno, it kinda takes away their achievements. separate ranking sounds better imo.

That was the idea i suggsted some time ago Karoth, thank you for acknowedging it.

Spy its great to have achievements, but this is an active game and its not to see how well the inactive players are doing.

Zorgy??? Is this something you can implement easier? Maybe trial it, im sure putting VM players on 0 points is easy enough for rankings sake?

Knowing some databases.... It would be far easier to simply move them out of the live rankings and have another ranking page that is for "away" players.

Say, when the system flags Vmode on a user, it simply just gets picked up in the query for the Vmode ranking page rather than the live ranking page which would simply need a query to ignore Vmode flags.

Backbone is already there, just needs a new ranking page and the query with filter to only show Vmode!
