looking how many players join each server every week and how many of them stick around, i guess the problem is lot of people never find a chance to TRY it !
a lot quit w/o even trying the game OR even among those who start up still very few can survive enough to LEARN the game.
alliances !
those are only hope for a noob to learn the game, but unfortunately some of the alliance lack a proper mentor to teach members" how to do it".
now what if certain players volunteered to help newcomers? and their name(or maybe a link to send them a pm) was added to the "welcome to zorg empire " message that they get?
it will benefit all,also players who look for new recruits can volunteer to help the new comers.
more people survive, more people sticking around , more activity in Game !

I agree 100% +1 from me im always looking to help new comers but none stick around long enough to learn the game and at least try to grow

correct, many players never get a chance to try the game... if there were an easier way to have them participate in a few battles that might change...

in fact I cannot remember what the beginning was like...

perhaps each alliance should have the option of having a short (maybe 64 characters or something) line in the welcome message, along with a link to that alliance?
add a required update or something so that inactive alliances lose their place, also a simple catch of something like if alliance age < 1 month then update daily, otherwise update weekly (acting kind of like a continue subscription or the like)
should be addable in the alliance maintenance section.

etcetc

you can add The Hero Republic to tht list lol....im in xtreme and take in anyone whoes active
