damage protection

there is a similar game that has this rule. it is if somebody gets attacked 4 times, over 20% of their base destroyed, they get a certain amount of time to rebuild without more attacks, the damage changes time of protection. if the protected player attacks another player or in zorg case active player he loses protection.

is this not more or less the bashing rule? (5 attacks per planet)

i have seen a similar idea however this would mean intentional damage would create an automatic protection from hostile players.

also this would HAVE to be removed during wartime or at least changed...

-1 from me as after a fleet crash stockpile collection takes place following this, unless the protection acts like v-mode and prevents new attacks rather than blocks incoming.

this is different in that if multiple players attack then they get protection, also if zorg catches that then they would get punished. yes wartime is a place to remove this rule.

i think i get the intention but this is a massive protective shield for the top players. i dunno what things are like in other galaxies, but in standard dr-j and deidara are the only ones powerful enough to take on each other single handedly.

also this would remove the potential of teamwork.
