A way to prevent unnessary attacks on new players

The game needs a point limit separation of players I can understand 10k points being attacked by 20k or a little more but I'm at 16,000 points and got hit by logged at 6.5 million points. Anyone see the utter bs in that and I'm not talking battleships.
and the profit was not worth the hit, so the attack was a total worthless hit. The df was 1 million metal and 1 million crystal and the winnings were : Metal 627.133 Crystal 659.846 Deuterium 200.299, which means nothing to a player of that point status, so this should be prevented from happening to others I believe you can't ask high players to discontinue doing such for the sake of the game, but enforce it with a point limit separation.
A point separation of players isn't a bad idea I mean if you want to keep new players around to grow and play, you got to stop a few things that interfere with keeping them around.I've seen it on other games so this idea isn't impossible. This is just a situation example and solution. Thoughts anyone?

but comming from someone who grew in a more hostile enviroment than this STAY UNPROFITABLE and you will not get touched either build up defence or use or move your res when you are not at the comp all us big players grew with the same point spread as yoiu have but with better players out there... it would be unfair to give you a easier growing platform than i had... i am almost 3 mil poins i get hunted by 10 mil 20 mil point players do i shout unfair no i keep myself safe

chuck Rishard comes from a time way before yours when the really good legendary players hunted around....don't try to say your early days in the game were harder than his haha

Stay unprofitable, you may have missed what I started this conversation piece with..I was hit by someone who was at 6.5 million points and I have 16k see the difference to make it worse it was for 600k metal and crystal. I think tactics like that can drive off new players. this game needs more players to say I dealt with it so they should also doesn't cut it for players showing up looking for a great game and that kind of thing happening to them why no prevent crap like that. Its not about being profitable its about "super" lvl players hitting low players for kicks its fun to them but think of how many may have quit because a few said hey, no its cool let it happen.
I am not shouting its unfair I've been hit before when I played in the past it didn't bother me its just when this can happen to a new player it just simply isn't right. I was here a couple years ago and there was more players its just not as many now and thats a issue. Build up a stronger player base thats a win win. Players can still battle and zorg gets more people on it's site.
Joshanddrew makes a point I forgot, I did deal it out with some of the originals from the start of the game.Good times

Rishard - good to see you posting around again.
A Tier System has been suggested before. I was all for it - but there are a lot of iffy spectators out there. I, for one, think it would level out the game.

Thanks sometimes I come out to post for something deserving recognition; like high players plowing through weak ones for nothing. A tier system a better name for it, is a great idea I mean this kind of problem with players attacking for little to nothing just because has already been brought up by rava in the general game discussion listed as: stop raiding lowly players for 300k to 400k resources or something like that. I noticed good points in favor of a system to protect new players. Gale your a mod can you set up a voting to see how others feel about this subject?

about this chuck , u forgot about everyone a noob before become a pro
u kill a noob and u kick him out from this game , why? because u didnt give him time to learn and kill him right away before he feels this game is great

Yup thats its, thanks rava. I think alot of noobs that drop out could have been really great players like us, I mean when I first started I wasn't great but I had to be taught and now years later I still come back if I had been bashed by a 'super' player I may not have came back. If a tier system was implemented it could improve the environment of the game for newer players. Not saying they shouldn't have battles its just they shouldn't have battles with players that have 6.5 million points, thats just a one sided battle that isn't worth playing for.

i think we lose more noob due to them not knowing how to build at first and finding the game play slow than to noobs getting hit. and what about that df you mentioned? seemed like profit to me. I have argued for a tier system before. I am still not entirely opposed to it, however, if a new player will ask questions of those hitting them and read the forums they will figure out how to play and not be hit by bigger players. I and some of my alliance mates have posted ways for the small guy to fight back. I think instead of crying, small players should take a stand and make the bigger players know there is consequence to their actions.

For that DF, I would have launched an assault as well. Frankly, that DF made the profit.
I've been thumped many times while considerably weaker by many who were much, much stronger.
Frankly, that within itself was a learning experience providing me with new insights into fleetsaving, when to fleetsave, where to fleetsave, how to more quickly and efficiently repair my fleet, and what defense combinations are most effective when and against what. Every fleetcrash was a learning experience.
