DF added to resources table..

I will start off by saying I am not a great fan of the new award tables for several reasons. 1st the defenders table is not what it says it is.. These players have not defended anything..more over they have lost.. but this has been said many times already.
2nd. I still feel there should be a time delay on hits to posting/showing of such events..it does not allow any player the chance to develop more over they are then bashed to pieces. A prime example is ilie.. I hit his fleet and with in an hour all his planets were raided, cleaned out. On his return he has no chance of rebuilding very quickly. (in my opinion unfair).

Now to my main point..at present any DF made or collected is not added or shown in any accumulative table. In my opinion it should be calculated into the raid value as resources gained.. Of course I will agree that any such value should only be added if collected.. Surely DF is resources captured/raided as well as that from planets/moons. Other wise these tables are not showing true values and players abilities thus making a mockery of the awards.

I believe that the Scoreboard is now influencing the game play. Each week it appears that some gamers pick specific targets to gain top slots within the tables regardless of profit, but purely for the TD points, thus giving them a top position with the weekly scoreboard.

The game environment is more like full-time war without any kind of rest. As for building Defences it just is not worth it, as you have to watch for defence bashing, as this may give someone a top hit, so goodbye turtles!!

Now that you cannot have a build a shell to protect your resources so you cannot me a miner!!

We regards to the individual scores, I had not even thought that loss of fleet means a player cannot defend themselves and therefore their planets are at your mercy, no wonder so many players are going into V-mode as soon as their fleet is destroyed, bye bye fleeters!!

So I believe that there needs to be a change to these scoreboards to allow a better flow of gaming!!! ;)

Not really liking the Scoreboard as it presently is........
Top Defender .....as said above.....there's no defending going on and all can tell who is getting attacked so all jump on the band wagon and bash to oblivion resulting in vmode or going inactive.
Top Attacker.....some actively d/b (more prevalent in Massacre) so not a reflection of skill imo.
Top Raider.....too easy to abuse this by dumping res on inactive or team mates moon and "raiding" it back....and yes this does happen......
Top Climber.....New accounts may benefit but that's about it.

Personally, I would like the Scoreboard to reflect Alliance stats only rather than the individual "glory boy" ones.....surely an alliance is more important than any one player.........at least this will give the individuals constantly getting attacked a chance to rebuild rather than quit..........at the very least have a delay on hits showing on Scoreboard and give the defenders a chance..........or put Scoreboard stats to a forum vote.........just saying.... :)

2. Debris fields are easy to hijack when the combat is made instantaneously public.

I disagree somewhat with the opinion that defenses are making people targets or top hits. Yes, there are turtle shell crackers and there always have been. The point of solid defense is not to discourage someone with more than 1000 RIPs. I'm going to hazard a guess that there are less than 10 players (on extreme) with 1k or more RIPS. The point of defense is to discourage the raiders from targeting a planet where a medium level of resources are being held temporarily for building or from daily production.

Suggestion: Post raid and attack statistics once per hour along with point updates.

A secondary suggestion might be to allow players to dismantle defenses and even ships and be able to recover a portion of the resources.

D/F being added to Top Raider i think should be added, have done for a while but didnt post,
The Top defender isn't right as people get bashed when others see 1 hit succesfully go through on them
Top attacker causes way to much defence bashing,
Top climber is only good for people who joined that week, although is nice to see if i'v gone up a rank or 2.. (no complaints for top climber actually)
Top raider, to easy to abuse by putting res on an inactive planet above and raiding it back, (i tested it once for 10mil res, not for any ribbons etc. i was 100+mil away from getting 10th) and i know people have done both the inactive with own res and major defence bashing...
The Top Battles are good, although shouldnt be updated on the second but maybe end of the week, with server reset, or end of the day.

for the personal stats, maybe like sprog suggested, make it so its only alliance stats as i do find people have stopped being team players but only want to further their own play,
although the inactive dumping can be abused still, and defence bashing can still be done....
many flaws imo although did take a while for me to think different as to begin with i found it made people put more effort into playing,

The d/f hijack is a good point although it does in a way bring ''skill' to make sure to send recys early although sometimes you have to launch for fleet fast and cant wait...
the defences making people targets however is obvious, logged in massacre did it, Gozar in the first week did to make a statement on it being flawed, and i know a many others to defence bash the top turtles just for points.
