Stempf idea- I second that its actually something solid I could see possible, I don't see it as a way to grow farms really, I mean if you pick someone to help you want to know they are smart enough to use it wisely,so you will probably talk to them, and if you do you would have to be a ...., (pick a word of your choice to fit in) why turn on somebody you just helped.

i spoke with a noob just today who said when he messages a big player they ignore him. Is this how we get more good players? I told him i waited until they attacked me to pm them. I think if we were to invest in the newest players we would then have a vested interest in their success. This may prompt some to teach rather than troll the noobs. I am thinking of you I'm A Farm; the first time i ever pm you i got "what do you want noob", you were rather rude. This is not how we should go about improving OUR game. I think Stempf is onto something solid. Stop complaining about 'no fleets out there these days' and 'i am bored' and become proactive in growing the player base and quality.

you forget thinman this is going to be optional...you think those big players who wont even offer advice to the small players will voluntarily give them advice and resources? seems *** backwards to me...on a side note i have always tried my best in the past to help newer players as I've thought like you they are the future, I've run training alliances as i plan to do in the future once i get capable co-leaders and more time...I've messaged just beginning players offering them my help and advice not all of us old players are trolls and d-bags.

i am a troll... tho just in forum and chats tho... in game i am quiet civil :D

also the first ever training alliance leader here :) if i am not mistaken also the first ever full on ze cadet core alliance mentor :)

my personal experience with big players is that some are ... well obviously dicks ( you might think that but they probably just dont have the time to reply, alot do work with a very hursh time frame) and some just dont care.

but that number is really few so dont say big players like all of them. yeah some are super arrogant who thinks replying to the smaller player is a bio-hazard to their demeanor, but hey thats is probably only 1/2

best suggestion pm the players who are posting in forum. 100% success rate there i can guarantee you.

I'm a troll here :P
But otherwise i'm a cool guy....Whenever i attack and the target PM's me, i recall. Within a reasonable timeframe or else i let the attack go through, because there are also .....(fill it in with what you think is fitting) among the newbies/noobs who wait until just 1 minute before the hit and then PM the attacker. Also ......(fill it in with what you think is fitting) who always lift fleet at the last second before the hit without ever PMing the attacker that they're on. Sorry but when i launch again and finally get their fleet, no booing or yelling will give me sleepless nights lol.
Lmao, does that make me a......(fill it in with what you think is fitting)?
Aside from that, this idea seems a good way to keep new players in the game. But there are conditions....
Saying that you want random picks to donate res to weaker players isn't 100% bulletproof. Because i'd like to participate in this project ,but i will refuse to donate to certain players who i consider .....(fill it in with what you think is fitting) and newbies who are allied with my enemies or who are members of certain alliances.
Now i'm not the only player here who has a beef with others, what kind of solution is there for this issue?
Again, nice idea/proposal but needs working out.....

I agree with sinister i will also partake in this push for the new players as anyone that has every came in contact with me in game knows i am not greedy and will help whoever i can...... but there are *#$% #%$&*'s out there that i wont give 1 unit of metal to. but i like this idea needs a little touching up like mabey if you volenteer you get a list of 5 or 10 players you can pick from to help this may eliminate this issue.. well unless you dislike 20%+ of the players

Dont fear death welcome it...

If we're thinking in economic terms if a "super" or player that is donating does donate to a lower player wouldn't they try and compensate for that loss of resources; therefor, raiding more lowers and inactives putting stress on the supers to continue to sustain themselves and even the lowers to defend themselves. That's why I think that the resources given/sent to the lowers should be for something the "supers" already buy, so then they don't feel obligated to look for more resources. The cycle would still be nearly as present as it is now but with some generosity thrown in. But I could be wrong as I don't think like a super would so maybe I am total overstepping my boundaries here.
