anyone think the max unit order should be increased? at the moment you can only build 1000 at a time of anything, its kinda annoying when you want to build like 20-100k of something in one go..
do yuo think we could get it increased? maybe 5-10k max order?

#4Well, I agree with makks, to some extent, at least. Why is there a limit on how much you can build at one time? If there is going to be a limit, at least make the limit correspond with the shipyard. It does say in the discription "With each level upgraded, it allows larger numbers of ships to be built". Or something like that, anyway.

#6I believe the limit is to keep people from instantly building 1 mil LL and Ninja an oncoming attack. I'd be pretty pissed if someone ninja'd me with an instant 1 mil LL.
However, I like Acewoonder's idea of having it correspond with the SY level. This gives the higher levels (18+) a use besides just lowering the times by minuscule amounts.
I can't quite think of a proper formula to determine the ships able to be built, however I think Level 10 should give the current max of 1000 ships/Defense, since players below a level 10 Ship Yard most likely won't be mass-building anything.
Level 20 should give a max of around...10k or so? I still don't believe the max should be extremely high, however 10k would save literally HUNDREDS of clicks and number presses very quickly.
If someone can devise a proper formula matching those criteria as close as possible, I'll jump on board completely.

If the comparison we are making is to someone being ninja'd, then we are talking about a minimum of 10 seconds or so of activity for the defender to do without the attacker noticing. Why ten seconds? The attacker must land an espionage mission, view the report, and still have time to act on that report in order to avoid being ninja'd. Anything less then ten seconds between probes hitting and attack hitting and the attacker is unlikely to be able to react quickly enough if he needs to recall.
From making probe moon shot orders, I know I can pump out quite a few orders in ten seconds. 10k LL only cost 7.5m metal, 2.5m crystal, and 500k deut. A few orders of 10k could drastically change smaller battles. BUT, this method could only be used on poorly defended, well developed planets. If used once, then there would be so many LL on the planet that you likely would never be able to use the trap on the same planet again.
The application of this (ninja with insta-build LL) is so limited, that I don't have any problem with increase to 10k, but I would hesitate to increase max build per order any higher.
