After popular playerbase demand, we have increased basic storage capacity for Speed and Standard Universes.

Standard basic storage has been moved to 250k.
Speed basic storage has been moved to 500k.

There will be no further increases on the storages in any current universe. Exception is Standard where a reduce may be possible (Used to be 50k and if 250k proves too large, we will move it back to 100k. This may only happen in the next 3 days).

this is a blessing. I was using over 40 fields just for storage. That was over 10% of my fields. Thats way to much to use for storage. Now I dont have to come up with something else and I can free up some of my planet building space. Would have like to see it at 1million but beggers cant be right all the time LOL

will there be a grace period where destruction of existing storage is less costly (free?)

i appreciate the extra storage cake and i am almost too embarrassed to ask for free ice cream to go with it

You will not need to reduce your storage down a level until you have consumed up all your building fields.
By then your mine levels will be high enough for the cost of destroying a storage level to not be significant.

A lot of people will never need to build storage ever again

I feel sorry for those who have went overboard in building storages, 14,13,12 going by the scoreboard
is not going to be fun to deconstruct
Unless they can find some use for a 360 million metal storage

Luckily I'm always active so my storages are at a decent level

i not planing to deconstructed my storage in near future :)
i still have much fields to spend
but this is a great blessing ^^
we didnt need to waste our fields and res to build higher storage anymore :)

I'd suggest leaving standard at 250l. It will give may people more farm materials. Even for the largest of us farming of inactives is slow work. this will increase the materials for the smaller people and alway them to build faster, while not doing as much for the larger people.

In othere words I think the 250k balances the game better.

This is indeed what we intend to do; We will leave it at 250k.
