Game Development update

#1
Hi all,

We have been constantly working on performance improvements for all universes. If you are not a player of X-TREME you possibly have not noticed any lag, as Standard and Speed have been running without any issues.

Still, there has been a lot of work in all three universes and there is more to be done.

All this performance work has put us behind in game development but we will try to redeem the situation with extra work in summertime. The actual priorities are obscure right now as we have much in the bag, therefore we will be changing priorities to what it is important for the game. These are (in no particular order):
-Tutorials
-Stats
-Battle Engine
-New additional layout

There might be more in the mix and there will also be implementations of player suggestions; some are very good.

For now, we will be monitoring the situation in X-TREME; we have some remaining implementations to install there, which will be done today. If we do not see vast improvement, starting from tomorrow, we might have to go even deeper in the game code to further improve perfomance (in the cost of game features developing time).

As always, we put precedence in performance and then in anything else. We had some bad luck with the new server we got for Speed. Fortunately for now we have ironed out all issues and it seems to work fine without any problems. We are still tweaking it and it is still not working at full potential but this is not something that anyone will be able to realize. The good news is that we have developed an alert software which will ensure that any future crash (God forbid) will be dealt in 5 minutes minimum to 30 minutes maximum under normal circumstances. This is now active on all universes.

I would like to thank everyone who has been supportive for the game, with one way or another.

Happy Gaming!
