this is true in all servers the strong prey on the weak, it is natural to do so. learn how to hide your fleet and know where it is at all times, join a training Alliance to help you learn the game.

I've been saying this for awhile. 10k is too small. But unfortunately the active population in massacre if you raised it to 100k protection there would be no one to attack barely. And then...they will just say well it IS named massacre. I don't really like it but it is the way it is.

To my belief it works like this. If you are in vmode but don't log in after 45 days the account is deleted. But as long as you log in every now and then it stays in vmode. Lost my account after I vmodedbut did not log in.

This is a point every player made as a noob. We all had to learn how to survive and grow. This is how we weed out the week who belong on one of those lesser games.

True, Smurf, that all established players had to go through that.
But still, the game is losing too many players who get to 10k, then get crashed and looted by much bigger players, and quit.
Perhaps there could be something more gradual e.g. 10k-100k a much stricter bashing rule, or protection up to 10x instead of 5x.

This has always been argued, however, you then learn that you're just delaying the inevitable. If the player will quit after getting hit at 10k, they will do the same at 100k.

having the bar set at 10k is alright. you have the time to develop your techs and mines and defense. get an understanding on the game. after 10k you get to learn how to hide your fleet or loose it. its a lot better to get broken in with small fleets then it would be with a larger one, all the time farming to get the resources and time spent building... you don't need a strong alliance to be a respected player. you just have to be a smart player.
ou
all the information you need is in the forums. their is countless battles on strategies to how you should make a turtle, how big planets should be and temp for mining. how you should start your first fleet.
in short. your defenses should be big enough that guys don't want to spend the deut to launch at you, and if you clean the resources frequently or spend it. and keep your fleet in the air moving to moons... don't attack people that are on line... it keeps things rather easy and basic.
and if some one is bashing you just because they can. just ask some one in the top 30 to deal with em. chance are that person while start giving that guy a taste of their own medicine. we would rather keep as meany people around so we can farm them
