Stat war discussion

Before i begin lets keep name calling accusations etc etc to min and just read what is being said.

I don't follow other servers much cause i play in speed..that's where my focus is.Everyone is up in arms over people 'cheating' the stat boards and as i myself find this funny, what does it really matter.I being the fleeter love the stat board for 1 reason..i can track your activity times better.Everyone loved when all the non massacre servers got it cause they wanted to see their names on the sheet...I loved it cause it was just another tool to track your average online times and take what you have raided and translate that into fleet points and potential future investments.

For 1.2 billion to show up in a short time regardless how it came about is extremely small number as it only ='s 300mil deut. But should someone decide to do the transport reraid more power to em i suppose. All it is doing is drawing my attention to them and it offers no gain to their overall rankings. In a way it can be considered a smart move to conceal what is now visible for all to see.In otherwords a tactical move which the only benefit i can currently see is to hide their real growth and make people cautious when attacking.

Example being i see someone had 4 bil raided last few weeks ..i havent seen growth..BUT does he have a hidden fleet out there or not??Until he goes VM i may never know and even then if he is caring large amount of res with his EC or fleet i might not know.

So what i am saying to those that do this tactic to conceal..if that was/is their plan and was smart enough to figure it out..good on ya..but if not i am sure they will now.My recent battle this morning and a few others tossed me up that stat chart in one day..i had no idea his fleet was this big or he was caring this much res http://www.zorgempire.com/forums/viewto ... =36&t=9638 but he was and fact there is plenty like him on all servers doing as much hidden works.

I've been thinking about this as well since I started playing again, this new addition makes it even more easy (and it already was considerably easier than other games) to track a person's activity.

They could keep the cool ranking stuff that players like but make it update every Friday when it resets (e.g instead of resetting, display the totals for last week). But somehow I doubt it's worth putting this forward in a suggestion.
