Would it be wrong to ask that a Mod doesn't lock a topic until there is a definitive reply from Zorg itself especially if that Mod is an alliance team mate of the topic subject.....was half way through replying to a comment just to find it locked!!!! Thanks :)

Posts: 1952 -The certain abuse policy mentioned here, regarding raid is indeed true. However it is also true that such an abuse (and any other abuse) can and will get you BANNED. I agree though that it also needs a protection mechanism to help administration and it will be incorporated in the near future.

I will go ahead and be a troll here :P
As certain players posts and mod abuse have proven, there is a cartel in Zorg. Could be more than 1 , i don't know. But i do know this, they use every means available and i do mean EVERY means available to come out on top! I know that some of these players are programmers , one is a Mod(oh dear, am i going to get banned now???).
We're talking about using their own res to boost their "raid" numbers, using an ally's res (all sent to inactive moons/planets),jumping accounts regularly, having multiple accounts (one or two always in blue) etc etc...
Now, i find it very very unethical for a Mod to lock a topic, when it concerns a alliance mate of his. This alliance mate , we all know who i'm talking about, was using a questionable tactic to be on top of the raiders list. We noticed that, we were discussing on how to handle the issue when one of us confronted said player in a PM. Within a few minutes he started a thread , confessing that he had indeed done it, but only to test it out and that he had reported it ..
BS!!!!!(And i don't mean Battle Ship :P)
Read how Doomrager lost his Modship after crashing his fleet against a friend. If a Mod can be punished that severely, than what is keeping you to act on the issue at hand?
I don't want to be Mod baiting, but this has to stop! Stop the multi-accounting, the regular account switching, the illegal "raiding"!!!!
I love this game, i really do. And so do the people in our alliance, but not this way.
Please, we implore you ;do something!!!!!

With high regards,
MrSinister

PS:Please don't ban me ,Megamedes....

Lol...I just don't get some of you guys!! You see conspiracy everywhere. I happen to be a 57 year old retired guy with lots of time and no need, no desire, to cheat. Fact of the matter is that a certain player was thought to be using this method so I pm'ed them last week and confronted them. They denied it and I told the player I would bring it up with Zorg and let them sort it. Zorg was informed and well aware of my suspiscions. The thread was started after 5 players sent probes looking for all the res that was showing as raided. I messaged all of them and told them to read the forum. End of story!! No subterfuge, no cheating. In case you hadn't noticed I've been top 3 since this server started. No cheating, just hard work and a damn good grasp of how to play.
So put away the knives and shivs. I am not the enemy here, I'm just trying to plug a potential problem so that the players who see a need to cheat(because they really aren't good enough on their own merit) have 1 less way to do it.

Well 57 year old fellow, with all due respect..
1.2 BILLIONS of resources.. is that the amount you need to demonstrate?
Or let me get this straight.. a person demonstrates something which he already knows exists, you're contradicting your statements, on one hand you say you DID NOT know and then you use the same "not known" trick for a demonstration?
Hmm...

This post will be conceived as me defending an alliance mate.. Think what you want. But, know this, I care not for player rankings, and even less about player awards.

That said, Zorton tried to point out an issue... and was ignored.

He demonstrated the issue, and the playerbase got extremely upset.. But the message was received!!!

My Question is Why?

He didn't gain anything.. He didn't profit.. He didn't grow faster because of this..

I asked the question. But I really don't care about the answer, cause the player awards don't count for anything to me. However, it does make me wonder about the perceptions people have. In every server in the Zorg Empire I have seen the top player accused of somehow bending the rules to his/her benefit.. Cheating if you will.

We all understand that no profit can be made off of this topic. and a meaningless golden "digital" medal is all the reward.

God forbid someone sees an exploit and points it out. and Zorg, if you read this, please go over my account, and all that I am associated with, For 3 years I have always played by the rules, have asked you for clarification of rules at times, and done my best to respect the rules. If you find that I have not lived up too that.. Please let me know. Walk me out the door if need be.

The first and foremost rule if you find a bug is : to REPORT it to the admin, not DEMONSTRATE it to the entire universe

EDIT:
If you wanted to check if it was working before reporting, you could have chosen a smaller amount?
1.2 Billions? Are you kidding me? 1.2 billions for a check? Wow!

Please remove Zorton's weekly "achievement" from charts asap as it is insulting to all other players. And Zorg please check if it was also abused by others before.

Redacted, keep the cheating accusations PRIVATE.-DR
