Hello again ZE moderators i have a new idea for chat if you will please hear me out two words Chat Translator.
it will be great if you could get a translator because we could actually have a global chat i mean the mod ban everyone who isnt speaking english and yall do say it is a GLOBAL CHAT but its not with the translator it truly will be and plus we could understand people who are speaking chinese japanese spanish etc all im asking is for some basic languages including English Japanese Chinese and Spanish so please take this under consideration

P.S. i know it will take some massive coding but it can be done with just a little time

My answer is still no, computer based translators are not reliable due to regional differences in some languages

The problem with this is that there are no direct translations from most languages to another. Even google translate acts as a broken telephone if you put a phrase through it and do translations.

I think the result of a translator will just end up with having mass miscommunications through the players trying to talk in chat.

I also say no, most translators just translate what you type, the grammar of the language has no effect on the ending translation.

English only Chat. Like Josh said translator's are not always right. You have to remember grammar and spelling and how things are worded. When I learned Latin I got so messed up because of the way they do their stuff and the way English is. Took me 2 years to fully understand what I didn't understand. Also Some language's have one word for many words in English. So in the end it would be a big mess. Stick to English only.
