The saving grace is that I got all the debris, plus 69 recyclers' worth that was already in orbit. Looks like somebody else made a play for the planet before I got there. I did profit, but ... probably wouldn't try it again.

yeah for real running is the best option, and counter attacking with a faster fleet

Most of my 2nd, more profitable hit vanished in the server maintenance.
