Im just wondering if there is a way of increasing your chances of getting any yield(or at least keeping your fleet), when you embark on an expo. Are there particular researches that need to be developed, or certain ships that are more adept at expo's, all in an effort to make it more of a worthwhile endevour.

Don't do expeditions.. they totally aren't worth it >.>

Can you explain me how you got your Deathstar? If expeditions are not worth it?

Because for a fact:
- Graviton Technology hasn't been invented by anyone in the game Standard. The Score Board isn's showing anyone that has this technology needed to build a Deathstar.
- You cannot buy them from the Zorg Rubies.

So can you tell me how you got yours then? Expeditions seems to be the only step left to get 1 (or more).

Couple things:

1. Smart people disable the scoreboard; higher ups use it as a menu
2. You can only find ships you send on expeditions; you can find, at most, 1/10th of what you send. Say you send 10 LF, that means you have the chance of finding 1
3. You can't find RIPs on expeditions; don't send them

I myself have lost plenty of LF and much more on Expo's but a thought had dwindled in my mind for some time if you read the expo description one is left to wounder if expo tech can help save your fleet during a raid of witch your are involved as the ACS defender as long as the duet/cyc are up to par keep in mind these are just my thoughts. Also it talks about the different ship types per lvl what qualifies as a ship type and how many are there ? can anyone tell me i would like the knowledge.

never fs on expedition mission, never fs on espionage mission. both cases the possibility of loosing ur entire fleet is very high.
