i just realized one of the reasons why players are not drawn towards the forum more. may be the in game alliances are really working close with the players, providing the intel they need for the game play. I saw that in the award section there are hardly any voting going on and as sloth tries to keep the voting active and rag pitch in to get more responses, i feel its because forum info is becoming redundant to the members.

personally in my alliance i have in most cases tried to give out info along with references in the forum. yes there are circumstances where ppl would like a direct answers but you are always giving your perspective while answering those quarries. you have to remember the more u research the more you learn. its not always the fact that we come up with all the questions that needs to be asked, indeed we are not all knowing too. forum is a good source of those informations that we might not think of or really do not know of. i think its the alliance leaders responsibility to bring in their players more in the forum.

and the more u are active around the community the more u get to know ppl and their activity. hence the voting gets popularized.

as i have already said in another thread its more the merrier.

And thank you to Zorg for offering to send a mass message in-game.

Indeed. The best would be all alliance leaders to tell their members to do so. From my experience, alliance leaders can be a lot more influential to members for such things than a mass administration message.
