on Zorg Empire you should have 3 types of planets they are
Economical
Offencial
Defence

Economical-This type is where you usaly have large cargo ships and the rest of the place is full of mine of met,cyr and duet this usaly helps getting 1 of your planets back on their feet
Offencial-This Planet Has all your Attacking ships
Defence-This planet is the Great Planet Which you can hold all your resorces from a Economical planet as it should have very strong defence

This is my way i do my planets sometimes
Mods if you think something is wrong you may change it

look you start off with def or off and then you get eco if u have def if you have off you def then eco and if u had def as start you get off last that simple

SO MANY QUESTIONS, SO LITTLE EXPLANATION!

Personally, I believe this isn't the way to go if you want to be succesful in this game, no matter how much def you build, somebody can always build more fleet, and leaving ships on your planets will attract fleeters like bees to nectar. It's best that you keep cargoes on each planet and when you are close to leaving, send all the production of your mines to one planet(preferably with a moon) and fleetsave from the planet/moon with the cargoes and ships, def is just to protect your overnight production.
