tie counts as a defeat?

I recently recieved a battle report from one of my raiding fleets i had lost no units the defender had lost over 67000 but it said it was a tie it it counts as a defeat on my overview screeen?

Well if you think about it, you don't win any resources.

Resent the fleet the same thing happened i lost nothing they lost a bunch but i get nothing and it counts as a loss
what doesnt make sense is why didnt i get resources

Battles only last 6 rounds. You have that time to destroy all their defenses and fleet.

Because after 6 rounds of combat he still had units of defenders left. Basicly you bounced.

The combat simulator is your friend. Caps-lock isn't.
