The best fleet will be a balanced one. No single type is the best. Simple really.

Everything has a weak point, you must have some of everything in order to prepare for and exploit these weak points. You must also account for defensive fleet structures. For example, you rely on your LF fodder, your target is heavy on Cruisers, so you must send along a lot of BC to counter the danger of the Cruisers.

The Death Star is supposed to be powerful. That CR example you gave us looks normal compared to what i've seen on other games.

Bear in mind that as oppose to other games, our Death Stars have quite a bit less armour rating than they should due to the altered cost and as such affecting their structural integrity.

They are fine how they are, if they get a reduction in RF power, coupled with their already reduced armour, it would make them pretty lowly.

Hit this fleet tonight.player lost 1300+ battleships ,cargos, some fodder and 1 DS so what would we now need to loose for a 20% moon chance......?

The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 1318 units of Metal, 1002 units of Crystal and 300432 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 0 units.
The defender has lost a total of 134.200.350 units.
A debris field containing 46.911.660 units of Metal and 11.595.750 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 18 %

Confirmed. Regardless of attack composition, result is 18% chance max.
