The Truth about Phalanx

breaking my vow not to post again as it seems some players have no idea about how phalanx works in "THIS" game...
so the other night i was doin a phalanx hit when another was brought to my attention..after following it a bit i noticed the person had recalled his deployed mission..the times changed to indicate it..so i hit when it returned back to the other planet..
i was called a cheater because in that 'OTHER' game this type of recall is not seen on phalanx..which i suppose is the case..but not here.
I was told i run a program because there is no way it can be done here as well...if anyone can show me a link to Zorg Empire where it is stated in the rules this type of recalled mission can no longer be seen on Phalanx i'd appreciate it.
After several attempts to explain to this person how to test it himself..he said the test didn't work because you can not phalanx your own planet...which is once again WRONG..
I sent a LC from planet to planet mission on a deploy and recalled it after a few minutes and i be god danged if it didn't show up in a phalanx..
Also the question has been brought up how to do Phalanx hits so i will explain to everyone how i do it
1) I calculate the time needed to reach the players planet/moon (this hit was 50% at a time of 01:00:12)
2) I right click on my clock in right hand corner of your computer to bring up date and time properties and syncronize it with server time in the game
3) I look when fleet returns and calculate when i need to launch (example hit was fleet returned at 21:07:38 so my launch time was at 20:07:27)
4) I then get my fleet all the way to the final launch page and watch for my computer clock to strike the launch time and fire away
there is other ways for other people to accomplish what i just described to you but that is what i found works for me...
*edit here* it is also important to know WHICH way the fleet is goin on the mission..that is how you decide which time to launch at..in my example case i knew which way it was going so i launched at the bottom time..if you are good at math and can figure out how long the trip takes to get to and from destination you can figure out which # to launch at...but missions involving rips moving across galaxies is a bit tricky unless you knew which day they launched the fleet
So anyhow if there is anyone besides this person ..who i think was just trying to get a rise out of me because he lost his fleet..that can not phalanx themselves or see a deploy mission that has been recalled..here is your chance to speak up..either way will work but i know anyone that knows how to use/read phalanx reports will see the fleets just like i do..without any special help from any programs.
Enjoy the read all and don't be afraid to link the portion on how to do..or at least how gumppy manages to get 1 second phalanx hits 99% of the time to your team mates who are new
