Should the fusion tech be fixed or not?

Right now, Energy tech has no effect on the output of fusion reactors, and the dev team might fix this if enough people in the forums get behind it.
Pros
-More energy is always better and allows for more growth
-The main advantage of energy tech is for higher fusion reactor output, and without it, the only advantage would be to build the terraformer, which only gives you four addition fields, so energy tech becomes useless to upgrade passed level eight.
Cons
-Since higher players already have higher fusion reactors, they would be helped more when it is first implemented
My apologies for not being able to find an equal amount of pros and cons. I would like to ask people who view this to say weather they think it should stay the way it is or be fixed. Additionally, add any pros or cons you have about the subject.
