How many of the top 100 people actually used the JUST JOINED tab. Be Honest.

I don't (restarted) and I didn't when I first joined I immediately began working for the colony ships and on technologies.

Im not exacly top 100 yet, but being a complete noob and never having played a game or this structure before i followed it exacly, it was very usefull i found, without it i probably would have just left after a couple of minutes.

I want to add additional questions.
Was it a good build up? If not any suggestion? A better alternative?

i used it when i first started, my 1st planet. but found i was getting in red a few times. so

i made my own pattern in making my new colonies.

I think that pattern is good for rushing to get small cargo. You need the lvl 5 deuterium synthesizer for the research of energy tech and combustion engine.
When you are lacking energy after upgrading the deuterium set the metal mine lower. After you get combustion engine 2, set metal mine to 100% and deuterium synthesizer to 80%. Yes you can upgrade the solar plant but I'd rather buy another cargo. You won't be needing much deuterium on the start anyway.

Still the difference would only set you back only a few hours or maybe a day. So it won't matter much. Unless you started with a couple of sharks.

but ive just done it so, i get to my level 5 deut w/o having to lower the other res mines. Of course its easier now with other established planets i can just transport over a few hundred thou. res to build faster. but when i made planets in G1 and G5 i build from scratch and i think it equals out in the end, i just hate seeing Red lol.


on an off topic, im getting an error message for zorg, is the site down for maintenance? im getting a msg saying notify administrator.
