A few days ago, the cost of labs & missile silos was increased. I had already built several large research labs and missile silos, so I gained the benefit (in points) of the new cost structure. Silo levels have since been reduced to a more nominal level, capped at level 5 if I'm not mistaken.
I think research lab levels should also be reduced in light of the new cost structure.
While it's nice to be #1 in the game rankings, the majority of the points I have there is from those labs. Reducing current lab levels to a maximum of 14 or 15 would bring my points (and those of a few other players) back in line with the rest of the players.

... which may not matter to you (nor I, for that matter), but, points is points, and some people will care greatly about them. Nothing should be capped. Hell, let 'em get Graviton Technology 2, if they want it.

Also, guys i thought there was a benefit except points for getting research lab past lvl 12, it further decreases time taken for current researches am i right? And some of them take an annoying amount of time.

#9I have asked admin to bring down all levels of research lab and I was told that that will not be done because:
"as the game progresses the point advantage players have earned from upgrading research labs will become slight and unimportant."
I was also told to post here and if more people agreed, the labs would be brought down as the silo's have been. I declined as I didnt want to cause a fuss but since someone else has brought it up, I thought Id throw my 2 cents in. Before the cost of labs and silos were increased the top three were as follows:
Mintaka 16k
Squirrel 13k
Lord 6k
zdog was 1 or less
Less than a week later:
Mintaka 249.653
Res 57.536
zdog 49.506
Squirreloncrack 29.368
This has prob affected others below me too. And yes, I agree with admin about the fact we can regain ground over time but in that case, Id like my silo's back. Having level 22/23 labs is INSANE and unheard of in any of the many similar games. The max I have in another similar game is 12 on 1 planet. I think its only fair to bring all levels back to 12 as these other players had an unfair advantage. Some of you may think this doesnt affect you but it affects everyone, it will take longer for others to catch number 1. Having labs reduced will make it fairer for all.
