Greetings everyone,
This is a special topic where you can ask administration about anything. It is a good chance to ask about game rules. Avoid using real player names if you want to ask on a specific event that took place. Administration will respond what we did in every case and why we did it.
To bring up a past event, use Player X did this and you did that. Why?
Administration has nothing to hide and will answer any question. So by all means, bring on the questions.

#2Okay, I have circulated that message in the alliance forums for my alliance. It was incomplete. Encouraging all my members to see the rest of it.
Re: Ask Administration
#3What are the rules about giving rubies versus giving rubies for res? How are these upheld?

Re: Ask Administration
#4Can a player "buy" an account whilst still having his own active account in same server Zorg?
Re: Ask Administration
#5I was curious if there was any news about a possible new universe
?

Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death.

Re: Ask Administration
#6Theoretically this is not allowed as it is not a standard trade option. As far as the game is concerned, if someone has rubies to spend, it is best to use them to Imperial support as it generates income._Wrath_ wrote:What are the rules about giving rubies versus giving rubies for res? In practice, this is a method used rarely by experienced players. It is a way for some players to make rubies income without buying them. We do not actively pursuit this though.
The only method that exists is the automatic check for sending more res than your hourly production. Still, no automatic penalties are issued on this but instead a record is created.
There are identified issues on this practice that can only be solved through the proposed Trade System for players. The scarce of such events has delayed this system.
Re: Ask Administration
#7This would fall into the multi play rule. You may not control or own more than one account in any universe. Penalty for multiplay can span from ban of a single account to ban of all accounts in all universes.Sprog wrote:Can a player "buy" an account whilst still having his own active account in same server Zorg?
In what way farewell hits are fair?
#8I would like to know in what way zorg thinks the farewell hits are fair?
Only the big can make the hit becoming stronger in the process, while the rest are even deprived the good future farm.
If one is give the oportunity to build a fleet should it then not be also the right to give it away?

#9So player A buys (on behalf of player B) an account (player C) whilst already having an active account...Zorg wrote:This would fall into the multi play rule. Player B then crashes the account he actually paid for himself (player C)...are you stating this is now allowed ?

#10We have a new universe in the makings. We are currently looking for ways to back the current playerbase as numbers have dropped.SilverVixen wrote:I was curious if there was any news about a possible new universe?
It is a difficult task as there are many unsolicited demagogues in our playerbase who though their propaganda has created a false image for the game and most importantly for the administration. This is the first thing in our agenda which also has meters to improve current universes in aspects of gameplay, rules transparency and interface controls.
We are concerned about launching a new universe as we are unsure of how well populated it will be. New universes are good for lowbies. A veteran should do well in any of the existing universes. However, the current bosses of each universe (extremely strong players) make us to want to hurry up the whole procedure for a new universe as it is quite disheartening for any new player to see that the top is so far away.
