ACS = Alliance Combat Systems

#1
As the title suggests......it is called alliance combat systems for a reason.......it's for alliance members

So for the last few weeks I have had invites to join in ACS attacks from Freaker...I obviously declined all

Now I get acs attacked from Freaker and his brother Whoisit (not in same alliance)

This is a week after Freaker sending me ACS invites to attack Whoisit.....he sent 500 b/c.....well sure looks like free pizza to me

So once again I will ask this.....why is it called ACS when in fact anyone who gets an invite can join in????

Might as well be called FFA....free for all.......

Funny you mentioned that Sprog... I to got the same invite to attack whoisit (freaker's brother in RL ) as you say in different alliances...and yet just the day before they were both joining in ACS attacks on me...

I can't help thinking that if I had added several k rips freaker's 500 bc would not have be ninja'd ..as if one brother does not not the other is online.. I also thought two related account owners were not meant to have any fleet contact what so ever... yet further bending of the game rules... imo

(speaking as a player)...

In a war I could possibly accept....for pointless attacks that involve your brother from another alliance I can't....especially when he was acs attacking him only last week....but we all know why that was ;)

In my opinion, allowing any player to join in an ACS Attack or Defend mission gives the game a broader (if only slightly) range of possibilities for how players can combine forces in attempt to deal with stronger opponents (not that it really makes much difference on X, at the current moment...). If the fact that ACS Attack and Defend missions have the word "Alliance" in them is your only true reason for asking for change, it doesn't strike me as an incredibly compelling argument.

If you believe a certain player is sending attacks he or she knows will be ninja-ed as a way of donating extra resources to another player, that is a completely different issue, one that has nothing to do with ACS Attack missions, and one you should probably bring up with the Zorg privately... I personally don't think it's a good idea to bring accusations like this into the public forums (whether or not they are founded). Just my opinion.

As far as I understand it, contact between players is only restricted if the account owners are in a situation where for some reason they are playing from the same IP address, and this is only to prevent mufti-accounting. The fact that players may know each other or be related in real life does not (and imo, should not) disallow them from attacking, defending, transporting resources to one another, etc, etc, as long as there's no evidence of mufti-accounting.

Again, it sounds like the true concern here is pulling/pushing... If that's the concern, there's an explicit rule for that and the case can be reported.

Ok let me put this simply...ACS should be for alliance only...if not then change the name to something more credible! Hope that helps explain things nice and clearly for you.

As for Whoisit and Freaker ...yes that's another story I guess....

As for IP addresses....lol well so many people can use 4+ devices (laptop, PC, tablet, mobile etc) I don't think it is even possible to prove they all came from one location or not lol....or they could just hide IP anyway.....does that clear all points up for u? :D

We going on ip address what about people who use work PCs home or familys pcs cafe WiFi etc.
This acs whether alliance member or not this can't be a bad thing only good thing

Keep This on topic, the subject is about the name of ACS attacks, keep it that way.

As for what you bring up Sprog, I see the need for anyone to be able to join an ACS attack or defend and I've never really been bothered by the naming....

ACS All Combat System.
Its obvious inviting other members is possible, so even if u are not in an alliance people can cooperate.
Acs is NOT for alliances only. In real life i love my brother but ingame we are enemies, but CAN work together against common enemies.
This is not rulebending, its making use of the options Zorg Empire provides
And i was REAL surprising to me, sprog, u did not know this.
I love ACS!
