Maybe Zorg should do this every month. I am amazed how many "inactive" accounts went active as soon as rubies were dished out for free. Not saying that any of these accounts are "pre-owned" by active players...just coincidence I'm sure lol.....anyone else notice this "anomally" in Extreme and especially Massacre? ~Indirect accusation/Trolling towards administration removed- Warning issued~ Happy New Year to all and enjoy the free rubies for those who "deserve" them

Several inactive accounts in, for instance, Standard are held by people ordinarily quite active on other servers. I saw many such come quickly to life again with the new rubies, as well. I see nothing untoward in that. I'm actually pleased that many who left their Standard accounts moribund while devoting themselves primarily to speed and extreme have now returned.

No idea about Standard or Speed servers tbh ...was more about Extreme and especially Massacre

I did see a few accounts come to "life" again and after a few days ,go back in the Inactivity limbo.
Probably minus the extra rubies.
I'd be glad to see players return, but this seems like a case of players who have extra accounts in the same Uni and who have now transferred the extra rubies to their active accounts. I think dear Sproggie meant that.
Maybe an idea? Check which accounts sprang to life again, stayed a few hours active and then "died" again , minus the extra rubies. Trace the rubies. Check the player who suddenly got all those rubies gifted from players who don't play anymore but came on just to transfer the rubies. Inactives who don't have any connection to them whatsoever. I'm sure you'll find a few suspicious cases. There are a few legitimate cases , i can assure you that. But in most of the cases it's probably a feeder account. Just thinking out loud
