Re: Preventing recent drama from being repeated

SPY, as I understood Desert_Reaper's last post he was suggesting that a person would have to be a member of an alliance for at least 24hrs before the attack block would be activated by his leaving/being kicked. My post was in response to this.

For GWD, Gozar left the alliance then formed a new one afterwards if I recall correctly. Rj was kicked from this new alliance then crashed.

How do we throw a wrench in these plans? Simple. Put at least a 5 day attack block on people who exit an alliance, willingly or not. This block would make it so that for these 5 days, they cannot be attacked by nor can they attack their former alliance mates. This block would be placed on all the members of that alliance at the exact time of the player exiting it, giving the player a chance to see what's going on.
Ok im going to ignore all the drama and stick to the topic in hand.

I 150% disagree with this as there are too many flaws to go with it. If you join an alliance you are at your own risk, everyone should FS in the game and stick to the rules and play your own game.

Every alliance works differently and have there own rules which are respected within an alliance. If certain rules are broken then thats for the alliances themselves and no one else to sort out, if you join an alliance your at your own risk, and should be joining because they are friends or people you would like to get to know.

That's a fair point Fishy. As I have said before (or if I haven't, I am now), I'm not trying to give players absolute protection from the risk of betrayal, I'm mostly trying to bring out a new way to help maintain general player activity in ZE, since the player base is what really keeps this game alive.

I personally believe the way to prevent people leaving is to start working on methods to fill up the current universes so that the players growing arnt starved in the middle and then brutally bashed by us bigger guys.

The game is not easy, ZE is not a game you join for ease as if you want to be at the top you have to put alot of time into it, its just how it goes. Other games are different but this is a very diverse game and played all over the world. I believe many people underestimate how hard a game and challenge this is.

Its always fun to play and the dramas and storys make the game more fun i believe, if we all just played without arguments then the game would be very boring indeed, the banter is good even if alot of kids start taking it too personally.

I believe the new server wont help increase the other server basis just offer something for players to mess around with for a few weeks.

A real proper structure needs to be put in place and i believe what you are actually looking for is alot different to your main post.

In regards to Alliances you join because you want to be part of something fun and interesting but if you cross the line all alliances dish out there own punishments.
