I totally disagree , if you have 50k points you can still be attacked by players lets say x3 your weight so that makes it 150k you will need to learn to fleetsave and stuff you will need to learn how to play and stuff but at least who wont be swiped by some 2mil pointer who can eliminate all your defences on all planets at a snap of a finger and start farming you when you reach a certain level of mines just because he wants to, not to mention wars.Who gets obliterated first? the low points members of course.
For sure there is more to discuss and plan but the overpower some players have in this game is like insane especially the ones that played this well with skill from the start...just give new and slow (slow in terms of evolving in the game,not enough time or realy casual)players some fresh air is my idea.
Worried to much to a big-big player make you become paranoid. Ex. when mintaka arround he never probe me. Now with so many players active they never able to catch you one by one. If they catch you its bad luck, life goes on, party continue but the probability are small. Player arround your size are the really treat, they are hungry for adventure and lot of them out there.
We need new Idea for balancing the power in this game not just put a cap protection. Maybe the number 1 must be reach not just by the point but must knock out the former number 1 player. Let say if I wanna be number 1, I must declare war on who is number 1 now.

Most people I've told about this have played "similar" games and quit the first day due to the bugs. Or just continue playing the "similar" game. So I've pretty much given up on recruiting...o.O

That doesn't make sense, since some players don't have fleet. So...Yar.

then, build a fleet. If can stand the blow from the number1 and hit back it means the player deserve the title.
